So on Tuesday I ventured out into London with my best friend, Freya. We had this really great idea that we'd scour the vintage shops in the most opulent parts of Notting Hill and find cast-off Chanel jackets for £30, or a lonely pair of Louboutins for a tenner. That was the dream. I was designated navigator with my map (app) in hand, so it was only a matter of time before we got completely lost (twice). We eventually found our way to Portobello Market, where we ended up browsing everything, buying nothing, and eating a lot. There's an American Apparel there and I couldn't help but try the Disco Pants on. I've now fallen in love with them, which is causing me a bit of a financial crisis.
We then jumped on a random bus which happened to take us directly to our next destination, Oxford street. We trawled the beauty floor of the department stores, then had a browse down Carnaby Street before heading home, tired and covered in makeup samples. Freya (a die-hard Urban Decay fan) managed to convince me that I need to own every Urban Decay eyeshadow. Another financial crisis.
I've made a few little changes to the layout of the blog which allows me to post bigger pictures, which is great because I think blogs always look better with big pictures. But all my previous posts are now the wrong size! Nevermind!
Where are your favourite places to go shopping in London? Anywhere I should check out next time? x
